VII. FOR MORE INFORMATION
Eco Campus offers the following services:
The Eco Campus™ is an online community of 5th -10 grade learners, teachers and classrooms across the world to safely connect, exchange ideas, and collaborate on environmental learning. The Eco Campus includes the Eco Campus Blog, which makes it easy to create and maintain safe blogs and galleries for schools and classrooms.
It is the Eco Campus’ policy to limit the collection of personal information from children to only that which is necessary to obtain parental consent or to participate in an Eco Campus program or activity after we have obtained parental consent. Children under 13 years old are not allowed to create an account without a parent or guardian’s permission.
We require a parent or guardian to consent before a child under the age of 13 can become a member of Eco Campus. In addition, during the registration process, we collect only enough personal information (i.e., child’s name, password and parent's email address) necessary to obtain a parent's permission for his/her child to become a member of Eco Campus.
Parents can provide consent by email or fax for their children to use the Eco Campus™. Complete email instructions are provided in the parental consent form available at www.ecocamp.us/privacy-policy/. If a parent provides email consent, Eco Campus will follow up with a confirmatory email to the parent.
To provide consent by fax, parents should fill out the parental consent form, sign it and fax it to (206) 426-2335 or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
If we receive consent from a parent or guardian, an authorized Eco Campus Administrator will activate the child's membership. If a parent provides email consent, Eco Campus will follow up with a confirmatory email to the parent.
Please note that if you wish to enter the site as a guest you will not be able to participate in any of the activities, you will only be able to take a tour of the site.
Once parental consent has been granted your child will be able to comment on blog posts and interact with other members of the site. If your child belongs to a school registered on the Eco Campus, they will also be able to participate in their class Eco Campus program, write on their Eco Campus school blog and post photos and videos which will be moderated to remove any personally identifiable information.
For all Eco Campus products and services we may collect the following types of personally identifiable information directly from children: first name; last name; password; username; IP address and parent's email address.

To request removal of your personal information from our blog or chat, contact us at email@example.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
